When Did the Filming of Ballerina Take Place?
The main filming started on November 7, 2022, in Prague and ended in December 2022. After that, post-production began in early 2023. Reshoots for key action scenes took place in February and March 2024.

The making of Ballerina had some changes along the way. Filming was originally planned for summer 2022 but started in November 2022 instead. While Len Wiseman directed the main shoot, producer Chad Stahelski handled the reshoots and added more exciting action scenes.
Norman Reedus traveled from Japan to Budapest to film intense fight scenes. Keanu Reeves, who plays John Wick, chose to focus on this movie instead of taking a role in the Star Wars series The Acolyte, showing his dedication to the John Wick franchise.
