Where was Light Shop Filmed?
Seoul, South Korea– The Heart of the Drama
- Ikseon-dong: The small, narrow streets of Ikseon-dong, with old houses (hanoks) and new shops, were used for the mysterious light shop. This area helped create a spooky and magical atmosphere for the show.
- Cheonggyecheon Stream: Some scenes were filmed by this peaceful stream in Seoul. The quiet surroundings gave a calm contrast to the drama’s eerie story.

When Did the Filming of Light Shop Take Place?
Filming started in October 2023 and finished in April 2024. It took about six months to complete the filming.
Director Kim Hee-won and the cast worked hard to make the light shop and its surroundings look just like the webtoon. Many of the most important scenes were filmed at night to make the shop feel even more mysterious.
