Behind the scenes, the crew worked hard to turn Ottawa into a Christmas wonderland. They added lots of holiday decorations and lights to make the movie look festive. The actors enjoyed filming at St. Matthew’s Church, calling it the perfect place for the emotional parts of the story.
I’m curious about the film’s story location of St Paul, Mn as the shots shown of a city were of Minneapolis.
Most wouldn’t notice or care but did the film people not have any good shots of St Paul?
Also it’s a good thing you filmed in Ottawa because the only snow Minneapolis had that winter was over Valentine’s Day. The rest of the time it was bone dry and just brown, no snow.
